No doubt, curls are beautiful but it can be quite difficult for the people having curly hair to tame them. Sometimes, even the strongest gels and the hair straightening tools don’t work when you have bad hair days.
So, if you want to change your look, a good option is to straight your hair naturally, without treating them with harsh chemical hair products and heating tools. We have gathered some natural ways to straighten the hair without using heat and chemicals. So grab your notebook and pen and sit back.
Note: Before these methods, add a few drops of sweet almond or coconut oil to tame frizz and smooth out the look.
#1: Brush Wet Hair until it Dries:
After washing your hair, let it air dry completely, but continue to brush it very fine, every five minutes. Pull out the small sections of hair and encourage them to stay straight out. You can do this process under the fan that is a faster way, but you need to make the brushing constant.
#2: Wrap Wet Hair Tightly:
After taking bath, brush your wet hair and divide them into two sections – the left and the right. Pull the left section over the right section tightly and wrap around the back of your head, securing it with bobby pins. Let it dry completely. You can also wear silk scarf and sleep onto it to reduce the frizz.
#3: Roll your Hair:
Not by using those rolling rods, but by using large hair rollers like the soda cans. Now roll the sections of your wet hair over the cans and secure them tightly over your head. Let it dry completely.
#4: Use Overnight Hair Bands:
Divide your wet or damp hair into two ponytails using the soft elastic band that will not cause the bend in the hair. Then add additional elastic bands after an inch or so down the ponytail, in order to hold them together. Go to sleep and let it out in the morning.
With these methods, you won’t get the pin-straight look from the iron, but you’ll have healthier hair that’s more or less straight with volume.
