Who Turned Heads at amfAR Gala 2017

 

The stars came out dressed lavishly to support the amfAR Gala 2017 at the Cannes Film Festival this year. A charity gala, the amfAR Gala is annual French Riviera AIDS fundraising ball, which in this year raised more than $20 million to help defeat the disease on a global level.

This killer star-studded evening is where every celebrity flaunt their dress and get us all of us gawking. From Bella Hadid to Winnie Harlow and Will Smith to Nicki Minaj, the evening was just graced with amazingly couture-clad stars.

Coco Rocha

The 27-year old Canadian model walk on to the red carpet in the arms of Jean-Paul Gaultier wearing this dramatic dress designed by Gaultier himself. She went Goth with a pixie cut standing out from the usual elegant amfAR vibe.

Nicki Minaj

This sexy fireball of a singer walked on red carpet dressed in this Roberto Cavalli Couture gown that very much looked like the same dresses she wore for Met Gala, Billboard Awards, MTV Music Awards and American Music Awards.

Jessica Chastain

Simply another red carpet moment Jessica Chastain looked amazing in this beautifully cut black Prada dress. She graced herself with a backward Piaget necklace with pearls, tassels and rose-detailing.

Irina Shayk

Dressed in paillette clad Prada gown, Irina knew how to keep the amfAR vibe going. Even though some thought her hair and make-up as unfinished, the paillette overload of the dress seemed to have balance out the low-key hair and makeup.

Jasmine Tookes

The Victoria’s Secret model walked in this beautiful embellished black Zuhair Murad dress adorned with Bulgari jewellery.

Hailey Baldwin

With a wispy do that turned out to be a personal favourite, Hailey walked cladded in Ellie Saab Fall 2016 Couture design. The hip slit and the velvet detailing and the Jimmy Choo “Pearl” Sandals, seemed to have brought back the vibrant air back to the gala.

Jessica Hart

The killer electric blue hue of the side train seemed to have blended oddly well with the Alexandre Vauthier Couture and her hair.
