We agree. SS18’s hair accessories are a great hit. Let’s see how to wear them!
Do a Dolce
We think every queen needs a crown and Dolce & Gabbana has kept up with it. D&G have long been flying in the Fashion Week flag for desirable hair accessory in the form of regal crown jewels. If you think crown is a bit too much, then a bejeweled headband or a necklace placed atop of the head, like we saw on the SS18 catwalk, can be the next best thing there ever was!
Take a bow
This was one of our favourite SS18’s hair accessories. If you feel like something a bit more low-key, check out a beautifully knotted bow as seen on the models at Erdem’s Victoriana-meets-speakeasy show. There definitely is something influential about the elegance of a black ribboned bow that is tied around the base of a neatly-curled ponytail.
A pearly queen
We love the pearl hair clips that were seen at Simone Rocha in London! They were just perfection. Plus, take note of fact that it loads up, and use them to embellish a deep side parting.
Find your crowning glory
Another show, another set of crowns, but at Moschino, Jeremy Scott’s offering was a bit tougher – leather and gold-studded, in fact. Work yours like one of his rock chicks, or opt for a leather-studded hair slide in a nod to the trend.
Slide into SS18
So simple but so smart. We love how the Versace-logoed hair slide was seen positioned above Gigi’s ears at Versace in Milan.
Get with the band
Headbands are becoming a thing. Especially if Gucci says so. The glittery black velvet were taken to a next level thanks to a bit of embellishment from enormous diamante bows in this season and we were awed. These were also seen with fabric-plaited headbands worn low on the forehead, like the Jane-Fonda workout style. Both cute when worn with hair loose and tucked into a shirt collar. Geek chic.
