Couture Beauty Trends: Autumn/Winter 2017
The couture beauty trends are flaunted on the catwalks to show off its most beautiful, elegant and striking creations and the hair and makeup is rarely an exception. Here is a close-up on the couture beauty trends straight from the backstage at the autumn/winter 2017.
As good as these couture beauty trends look, you can always be inspired by these the next time you are outing!
We loved the glowing skin and white-lined eyes made up the ethereal look at Valentino, created by Pat McGrath.
Guido Palau styled hair in low-slung ponytails, with face-framing layers loose around models’ faces. Not something we have not seen that many times and we loved it as much as we were stumped by it.
Tom Pecheux created a glowing, golden beauty look at Elie Saab, with subtly defined eyes. And the it’s there-it’s not there plain make-up.
For hair, Orlando Pita styled soft waves with gold headbands, whilst some models sported mini plaits. The subtle make-up spotlighted the hair better.
The striking lip created by Pat McGrath at Maison Margiela, was featured with foils and transparent papers for a reflective finish.
Skin was beautifully highlighted and adorning face jewellery was also worn by some models.
Hairstyles by Eugene Souleiman varied from gold and blue-sprayed roots to stencilled stars and even foam-like coatings over the scalp.
Linda Cantello focused on the eyes at Armani Privé, with metallic smoky shadow and strong brows. Something we didn’t see at other runaways but we loved this since Linda showed us there much more to a catwalk than a mere outfit.
Skin was fresh and lips left natural, to let the eye make-up stand out. we loved the spotlight on the make-up.
Hair was worn slicked to the head, and topped with dramatic veiled hats.
